Four more cases of infection were COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia

Four new cases of new type coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Saudi Arabia, according to Reuters. Among the new patients, only one is a Saudi Arabian citizen. The other three are two citizens of Bahrain and one American. Thus, the total number of new infections in the country reached 15. According to the news agency, on March 8, Saudi Arabian authorities imposed a quarantine in the province of Al-Katif in the east of the country. The province was banned from entering and leaving, and government agencies and private companies also ceased to operate.

Zenit launch complex on Baikonur reconstructed for Soyuz-5

The reconstruction of the Zenit launch complex for the Soyuz-5 launch vehicles under development at the Baikonur cosmodrome will begin on October 16. The decision on the start date was made following negotiations between the Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Baghdat Musin. The reconstruction of the launch pad will be carried out by specialists of the Center for the Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure (TsENKI) together with Kazakhstani builders.
