German concern Siemens is suing for its brand with a microcompany from Russia


On June 23, 2020, Moscow Arbitration will begin to consider the claim of the German Siemens Concern against Elgrupp Moscow LLC, which uses in its domain name a verbal designation similar to the trademark of the Group. The plaintiff demands by the decision of the court to prohibit the micro-enterprise-defendant from using his brand, reports the correspondent news agency. Siemens Aktiengesellschaft (Siemens AG) filed a lawsuit on April 8, and on April 15 the case was accepted for production. The third person in it is LLC Registrar of domain names of reg.ru. According to EGRUL, the respondent company has been working on the electrical works market since October 2013. At the beginning of 2019, LLC employed about 12 people and is a micro-enterprise. The court decision in the case imposed interim measures in the form of a ban on the registrar to cancel registration and transfer the rights of administration of the domain name to siemens-motor.ru persons, to transfer his support to another registrar.

Zenit launch complex on Baikonur reconstructed for Soyuz-5

The reconstruction of the Zenit launch complex for the Soyuz-5 launch vehicles under development at the Baikonur cosmodrome will begin on October 16. The decision on the start date was made following negotiations between the Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Baghdat Musin.
