Holding WarnerMedia named date of launch of streaming service HBO Max

The launch of the new streaming service HBO Max will take place on May 27. This was announced to journalists on April 21 by the press service of the media holding WarnerMedia, which includes the TV company HBO. The press release reports that the service will present a solid list of diverse and quality programs, despite the unprecedented pandemic. Among the exclusive projects that the service will present at the opening are Love Life series with Anna Kendrick in the lead role, as well as the documentary project On the Record about the inner life of the American music industry. Subscribers will also have access to the entire HBO film studio and Warner Bros., which contains more than two thousand feature films. Among them are paintings such as Joker (2019), Soprano Clan (1999 2007), Game of Thrones (2011 2019) and many other famous films. According to the media holding, this year the service will show new episodes of the series Fatal Patrol and a special episode of the series Friends, which the creators of the platform were going to prepare for the launch of HBO Max, but the shooting failed due to the pandemic coronavirus. HBO Max will compete with other major players in the streaming video market, including Netflix with 158 million subscribers, Hulu, to which 28 million people have signed, Apple TV and others.
