Deputy Rada contracted coronavirus


At the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the faction Batkivshchina Julia Timoshenko Oleg Meidich identified coronavirus, reported on May 19 edition of the Strana.ua. The circumstances of the infection, as well as the condition of the 49-year-old Parliament, are not known at the moment. The deputy was a trustee of presidential candidate Tymoshenko in 2019, and later went to Rada from one of the electoral districts of Vinnitskaya region. According to the news agency, earlier the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Umumkov said that in the Ukrainian parliament there are no infected deputies. Zenit launch complex on Baikonur reconstructed for Soyuz-5

The reconstruction of the Zenit launch complex for the Soyuz-5 launch vehicles under development at the Baikonur cosmodrome will begin on October 16. This was reported by the press service of Roscosmos. The decision on the start date was made following negotiations between the Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Baghdat Musin. The reconstruction of the launch pad will be carried out by specialists of the Center for the Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure (TsENKI) together with Kazakhstani builders. The Soyuz-5 medium-class launch vehicle is being developed by the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation. It is intended to replace the carriers of the Zenit series produced at Ukrainian enterprises.
