In the Netherlands announced the easing of quarantine measures

As expected, on 6 May, at a press conference, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutt, announced a plan to gradually mitigate the quarantine measures in force in the country. The mitigation roadmap is calculated for the near future, until September 1. Rutte stressed that the easing of quarantine measures will take place in stages and depending on the situation with coronavirus. From May 11, it is allowed to return to work representatives of so-called contact professions. Hairdressers, beauty salons, car schools and optics shops will be able to resume their work. Clients will only be accepted by record. In addition, the libraries have been opening their doors again since May 11. Outdoor sports are also permitted, provided a distance of 1.5 metres is observed. From June 1, high schools will resume classes. Starting from this day, public transport will return to work according to the normal schedule. Passengers will be required to wear masks that they must provide for themselves. Access to public transport will be limited: its workload should not exceed 40%. Also from June 1, the cafe is allowed to open terraces for visitors, provided that the distance of 1.5 meters between visitors is observed. Museums and cinemas also resume their work, but only on pre-registration and provided that the number of visitors does not exceed 30 at the same time. As of 1 July, no more than 100 people will be allowed to gather in groups. This easing means an increase in the number of visitors in museums, libraries and catering. A condition for the move is a slight increase in newly identified cases of coronavirus, which does not overload the health care system. Finally, sports schools and sauna, coffee shops, casinos and prostitutes will resume on 1 September.
