In Turkey, reported on the prevention of 96 terrorist attacks from the beginning of 2020


Since the beginning of 2020, Turkish law enforcement agencies have prevented 96 terrorist acts. This was reported on June 21 by Anadolu Ajansi. According to journalists, 93 attacks were planned by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), one terrorist attack by ISIS (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation), two others from other groups. Also during this period, 54 people were detained, 42 of whom are accused of ties with the PKK, 10 in ties with ISIS (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation), two in ties with other groups. Recall that in 2019, the Turkish security forces prevented 328 terrorist acts.

Zenit launch complex on Baikonur reconstructed for Soyuz-5

The reconstruction of the Zenit launch complex for the Soyuz-5 launch vehicles under development at the Baikonur cosmodrome will begin on October 16. The decision on the start date was made following negotiations between the Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Baghdat Musin.
