In Iraq, the number of dead patients with COVID-19 exceeded 3,000


In Iraq, 95 patients with coronavirus infection have died over the past day, the press service of the Iraqi Ministry of Health reports. Thus, the total number of victims of COVID-19 complications in Iraq since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 3,055. Also on July 11, 2,734 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus were identified in the country. In total, 75,194 cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection were confirmed in the republic. Also, since the beginning of the pandemic in Iraq, 43,079 patients have already recovered, they have been discharged from medical institutions. The representative of the department, Saif il-Badr, noted that dozens of health workers contracted a new type of coronavirus due to direct contacts with patients.

Zenit launch complex on Baikonur reconstructed for Soyuz-5

The reconstruction of the Zenit launch complex for the Soyuz-5 launch vehicles under development at the Baikonur cosmodrome will begin on October 16.
