In Iraq, terrorists killed an army brigade commander and an officer


The commander of one of the brigades of the 7th Infantry Division of the Iraqi Army and the officer accompanying him were killed after being ambushed by militants of the IS group (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) in the province of Anbar, Al Sumaria TV channel reports. Two more soldiers were injured. The attack occurred when the military patrolled a desert area near the city of Heath, where terrorist groups were seen. According to the news agency, on July 22, near the city of Al-Nasiriyah in the Iraqi province of Di-Kar, a convoy with equipment for the US military was blown up.

Zenit launch complex on Baikonur reconstructed for Soyuz-5

The reconstruction of the Zenit launch complex for the Soyuz-5 launch vehicles under development at the Baikonur cosmodrome will begin on October 16.
