Sony raised the price of Horizon Zero Dawn due to resourceful users

Sony raised the price of the Horizon Zero Dawn s video game due to the fact that users began to abuse VPN technology (allows providing a network connection on top of another network). This was announced on July 7 by the DSOGaming portal. Gamers, using VPN, began to buy the game in other regions of the world, where in stores and services it is sold at a lower price. Gamers noticed that now Horizon Zero Dawn has risen in price, for example, in the UK, the pre-order price increased by 20%. The release of the PC version of the game is scheduled for August 7, 2020. It is worth noting that the Steam service prohibits its users from using VPN, and in case of violations they may encounter account blocking. Now in the EU there is a lawsuit that Valve and some video game publishers use geo-locking, which does not allow gamers to use code to get a game in another region. The EU authorities consider this a violation of antitrust rules.
