China extends blue weather hazard due to showers


Chinese meteorologists announced a blue warning level due to showers in a number of southwestern and northeastern regions of the country, Xinhua News Agency reported on August 30. From 20:00 meat time on August 30 to 20:00 the next day, heavy torrential rains are expected in vast areas of the provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia, the National Meteorological Center of China said.
