In Egypt, revealed 112 infected with coronavirus per day


Over the past day, 112 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus have been identified in Egypt, the press service of the Egyptian Ministry of Health reports. Thus, the total number of confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infections in Egypt reached 94,752. Also on August 4, 24 patients with coronavirus infection died. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 4912 people have become victims of COVID-19 complications in Egyptian territory. The Egyptian Ministry of Health added that for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, the percentage of recovered patients increased to 44.9. Already in the country, 45,569 people recovered, they were discharged from medical institutions in Egypt.

Zenit launch complex on Baikonur reconstructed for Soyuz-5

The reconstruction of the Zenit launch complex for the Soyuz-5 launch vehicles under development at the Baikonur cosmodrome will begin on October 16. The decision on the start date was made following negotiations between the Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Baghdat Musin. The reconstruction of the launch pad will be carried out by specialists of the Center for the Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure (TsENKI) together with Kazakhstani builders.
