The number of foreign students is growing in Beijing

An increasing number of foreign students come to Beijing for education, Xinhua News Agency reported on September 6. Currently, about 110 thousand foreign students receive higher education in Beijing, it was announced at the forum on trade in the field of international educational services, which was held as part of the China International Trade in Services Fair 2020. According to the forum, Beijing has become one of the key destinations of international students from the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, the number of international exchanges in the field of education is growing in Beijing. In the Chinese capital, there are about 2,700 schools that have entered into partnerships with foreign educational institutions as part of exchange programs. Of these, more than 5,000 foreign teachers work in this system.
