South Korea to lower fuel charges on international flights in March


In March 2020, South Korea will lower ticks and fees for flights on international flights. This is reported by KBS with reference to industry sources. According to sources, fuel charges on international flights will be reduced to 19,200 won (~ $16.22) depending on the distance between cities. For example, Korean Air's fuel fee will vary from 3,600 won (~ $3.04) to 19,200 won (~ $16.22) depending on the distance the aircraft will travel from point A to point B (804.6 km to 16,000 km). In addition, the fuel fee for domestic flights will be frozen at 5,500 won (~ $4.65).
