The principle of equality at work is violated in most EU countries: experts

In 14 (out of 15 analyzed) EU member states, the principle of equality of men and women in the field of work is not fully respected, such are the studies of the Committee on Social Rights of the European Council, reports Adnkronos on Monday, June 29. Among the countries where the necessary results have not been achieved are Italy, France, the Netherlands, Belgium. The only exceptions were Sweden. Inequality is expressed primarily in different levels of salaries for men and women, the authors of the study noted.
